Why Is My Bedroom Damp?
Cold walls, closed doors and drying clothes indoors all combine to turn bedrooms into condensation traps.
We breathe out around a litre of water each night. In a closed-door bedroom with a cold external wall, that water condenses on the coldest surface first.
That's why mould appears in bedroom corners, behind wardrobes and around windows.
Fixes range from cracking a window slightly, to trickle vents, to a PIV unit for the whole house.
